SOLAR SYSTEM — INTERACTIVE 3D EDUCATIONAL MODEL
Version 1.3.0 — Freeware
===============================================

An interactive three-dimensional model of the Solar System for education,
demonstration and exploration. The model runs locally and requires no account,
internet connection or external data service.

FEATURES
- The Sun, all eight planets and Earth's Moon
- Procedurally generated planetary surfaces
- Illuminated and dark hemispheres calculated from the Sun's position
- Relative orbital periods, eccentricities and orbital inclinations
- Saturn's rings and a three-dimensional star field
- Adjustable simulation speed
- Rotatable and zoomable camera
- Planet selection with essential astronomical data
- Orbit and label visibility controls
- Fullscreen mode

CONTROLS
- Drag with the mouse: rotate the view
- Mouse wheel: zoom
- Click a planet: display details
- Space: pause or resume
- F: enter or leave fullscreen mode
- Arrow keys: rotate the view

WINDOWS EDITIONS
Solar_System_PORTABLE_v1.3.exe
  Runs without installation.

Solar_System_SETUP_v1.3.exe
Installs the application and creates Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Microsoft Edge WebView/browser runtime (normally included with Windows)
- Graphics hardware and driver with WebGL support

MODEL SCALE
Planet sizes and orbital distances are visually enlarged and compressed so all
planets remain visible in one useful scene. Orbital periods, eccentricities and
inclinations are represented relatively; this is an educational visualisation,
not a precision ephemeris.

LICENCE
Free for anyone to use, including commercial use. Selling the software is not
permitted. See LICENSE_FREEWARE_EN.txt for the complete terms.

Third-party open-source notices are provided in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt.
